Reverdie is an emerging outdoor lifestyle clothing label placing remarkably high-performing 100% natural materials at the intersection of urban and outdoor environments, where synthetics need not dominate. Contemporary silhouettes convey a quiet elegance through color resonance, juxtapositional layering, and striking constructions.

Pronounced ruh-vair-dee, Reverdie borrows its name from an old genre of French poetry which celebrates the arrival of spring and new beginnings. It translates quite literally to “re-greening.” The significance is two-fold:

Reverdie holds sustainability and fair labor in the highest regard, not for the sake of marketing, but for the sake of soul. Every material is sourced exclusively from the most responsible suppliers, and every garment is cut and sewn in California, which has some of the most rigorous fair labor laws in the world.

In “The Poetics of Space,” philosopher Gaston Bachelard writes, “If I were asked to name the chief benefit of the house, I should say: the house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace." As a new beginning and a protective house for Reverdie’s founding designer, Reverdie represents the dream of what a design-led clothing label can be when afforded the creative space to craft vision from inspiration and a genuine desire to do best by people and planet.

Each seasonal collection is produced in a limited run in the interest of re-framing clothing as art, not commodity, for the discerning eye and mind.
